Allocating a Patient to an Appointment
How to assign a patient to an appointment slot.

1: Locate the Unoccupied Appointment Slot

  • Log in to your account and navigate to your 'Schedule' section.
  • Find the unoccupied appointment slot on your calendar. Unoccupied slots are displayed in blue.
  • Click on the desired blue slot to open the appointment details.

2: Assign a Patient to the Slot

  • Enter Patient Information
    • In the 'Patient' field, type in the patient's EMIS number or select it from the dropdown menu.

  • Select Appointment Type
    • Choose the type of appointment from the following options:
      • Video.
      • Face-to-Face.
      • Voice.
  • Assign Patient Assessments (Optional)
    • Select any patient assessments you wish the patient to complete before the appointment.

 

 

3: Confirm the Assignment

  • Click on 'Assign Patient' to finalise the appointment.
  • Note: Once you assign the patient, the appointment will be added to their schedule, and they will receive an automated email notification.

 

Optional: Remove an Appointment Slot

  • If you need to delete the appointment slot:
    • Click on 'Remove Schedule' instead of assigning a patient.
      • Warning: This action will delete the appointment from your schedule. You will need to recreate the slot if you wish to schedule it again.
